About the Author
Joseph has been drawing "JT & Tea" since 2003. He has had experience in making advertisement posters for US Bank- Roosevelt Branch in Seattle, Washington. After moving to Everett, WA to start his education, he got "JT & Tea" published for the first time in "The Clipper": Everett Community College's school paper. Joseph is currently studying to be an Elementary Teacher and plans to settle down with his family in that career while he continues to produce "JT & Tea" comics for friends and family; with the ultimate goal of seeing his comic syndicated one day.
About the Comic
When Joseph met his then soon-to-be-wife, he found out that they had both gone to high schools that had the same acronym: CHS. Upon further investigation, the two discovered that not only were their school names similar, but they had the same school colors and mascot as well. That was a little too paradoxical for Joseph, and so he set off making a comic strip about what life might have been like if he and his wife had gone to high school together. Add in a good buddy whom he met in Chicago, IL for the fun of it, and you have what has evolved into the strip "JT & Tea" as we've all come to know and love. Sometimes a little out of the ordinary, and obviously not too worried about breaking the norms, JT, Tea, and JT's good buddy, Jose, are sure to remind you that life isn't always as it seems it should be.
About the Characters
JT - A fun loving guy with a knack for missing the obvious when it comes to girls, he's never very far from something a bit out of the ordinary; usually it's one of his best buddies, Jose.
Tea - JT's the guy for her, but will he ever get a clue? Yeah... JT's not that stupid, but like we said before, he's a bit awkward around girls. So, that makes Tea's job a little bit more difficult if she's ever going to get him out on a date!
Jose - JT's brother from another mother. Always good for a laugh and for making the impossible possible. How? Let's just say that when Jose gets together with JT, mischeif and adventure are not far behind.
